Learn to surf with Kapowui Surf Club, a local icon. We, at Kapowui, provide year round instruction, sunrise to sunset, every day. We offer surf lessons and paddle board lessons to to people of all ages and skill levels in Santa Monica, Venice Beach and other Los Angeles area beaches. Our beach lessons are so thorough, we guarantee you will stand up on your very first lesson! All equipment is included in your lesson, but if you wish, you may also Rent surf boards, padddle boards and wetsuits at our surf shop, located right on the beach, for your convenience. All Kapowui surf instructors are LA County licensed & permitted. Safety comes first!

Surf lessons take place in the iconic Venice Beach, where the sandy bottom beaches are safe and perfect for beginner surf lessons. Kapowui Surf Club has a group of seasoned surf instructors who guarantee to get you surfing your first lesson, or your next lesson is free! We reduce the learning curve from months to minutes. Stay with us after your surf lesson and lay out on the white sandy beaches, or walk the boardwalk and experience all the local artists, restaurants, bars, hotels, street performers, basketball and hand ball courts, muscle beach, the skate park and so much more.
